Weight : The weight of Batteries (irrespective of type, Nickel Cadmium, Lithium, or Duracell) that cripple all other electric cars are not an issue for the Chelfing Spasm™, which requires no batteries at all. None. The problems associated with mining Battery chemicals and flying them twice around the world to end up in Hollywood are also negated. How does the Chelfing manage this ? By being the first electric car to offer direct drive technology, simply plug your car into the mains and drive. Truly 'Plug n play' technology !
Power : Performance from the Babyliss straight-n-shine electric motor driving the Spasm™ is excellent with many KiloWhatnots, generous heat and the smell of burnt fringe.
Range : The Spasm™ is 'Plug n play' giving Owners the possibility to chose their own range, with a 10m mains lead as standard, you can add additional length at time of order to suit the length of your daily commute. We now offer a long-range commuter kit (see picture). Please remember to state plug type (UK, Euro or Third-world) at time of order.

The innovation doesn't stop there, inspired by stop/start technology featured in certain gasoline engines, further energy savings can be made by switching off the power whilst waiting at red lights, and particularly frugal Spasm™ Owners may also wish to unplug their car from the mains in traffic jams for further energy savings.
